Welcome!

Two friends Gone Astray
Two friends gone astray,
It will never again be that way,
The laughter and the tears,
The caring throughout the years
What brought us to this day?
She wonders as if to say,
It really wasn't us who became distraught.
If only I had thought,
That it could ever end this way,
I would have had to say,
Let's don't do this today.
Let's find a better day.
So we can go on our merry way.

Miss Liberty

I wonder if Miss Liberty had
A tear in her eye,
When she saw the planes in the sky?
I wonder if she knew,
What they were about to do?
I wonder what she thought,
When she saw the fireball?
Who has come to call?
This is the nation of freedom and all.
People come here to cheer,
People come here to shout,
Because they know what it is all about.
It is not about doom and despair,
That came from the air.
It's all about the human spirit,
That will never die,
From any form in the sky.

Rock and Roll
I have loved rock and roll
Since I was a boy
It has brought me such joy
It is like a toy
That you can’t put down
That won’t let you frown
That won’t let you grow up
That gets better with age
Yet we have seen the rage
When a rocker dies
When a fan cries
It is such a sight
Yet try as we might
We can’t forget Jimmy
Who made his guitar sing
And what about Janis
Wasn’t she a beautiful thing?
And John had his way
But he lost it that day
And isn’t it so sad
The guy was just mad
Just think of the potential
That these people had
Just think of the songs
That will never be bad.

The Heart
I write from the heart,
It’s the way I feel,
I know that it’s real.
When so many die,
The heart cries out,
It wants to shout.
When people feel pain,
There’s nothing to gain.
When people no longer care,
There’s fear everywhere.
When people say why me,
Is it only a plea?
For themselves you see.
The solution you see,
Is for attitudes to be
Right you see.
For people to care again,
For kindness to prevail,
We’ve all got to do well,
We’ve all got to shell
Out some more love.
